We are delighted to announce that Greater Manchester Mental Health Foundation Trust CBT Training Centre has secured funding from Health Education England as a training provider for the application of CBT for Long Term Conditions and Medically Unexplained Symptoms (LTC/MUS), for the North West of England and the West Midlands.

They are currently seeking suitable applicants. You are invited to circulate this information and to nominate appropriate staff to apply for this programme.

10 Day Programme: Application of CBT for Long Term Conditions and Medically Unexplained Symptoms

(Confirmed) 6th March 2017
(To be finalised) 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st, 27th, 28th March and 24th, 25th April 2017

Venues: To be finalised, but predominantly Upstairs Function Room, Whitefield Golf Club, Prestwich,
Greater Manchester

Suitable for: Qualified and experienced High Intensity Therapists wishing to develop their specialist knowledge and CBT skills in working with Long Term Conditions and Medically Unexplained Symptoms. Applicants must have access to appropriate LTC/MUS client groups and have an agreed source of specialist LTC/MUS focused supervision.

The closing date for applications is Friday 3rd February 2017. Places are limited, subject to suitability, and to service agreement to meet all requirements.
