Earlier this year - as part of the HEE New Roles in Mental Health work - HEE commissioned the Florence Nightingale Foundation to develop and run leadership programmes for Mental Health Nurses (aimed at bands 5-6 or equivalent), and Nursing Associates working in Mental Health.
I am pleased to let you know that the programmes have now opened to applicants – during the course of their engagement with stakeholders The Foundation received feedback saying these programmes would be particularly helpful and supportive at this time.
HEE have funded two cohorts of 20 places for Mental Health Nurses, and one cohort of 20 places for Nursing Associates. The programmes are open to those working in the field of Mental Health in the NHS or NHS commissioned services across England, and details can be found via the links below.
The Foundation have shared details of the programmes with MH providers Directors of Nursing, and information has also gone to The HEE Lead Nurses in each region. Please do feel free share this information with any other relevant contacts.
