An exciting opportunity has arisen at the University for a motivated and compassionate CBT Therapist based in the School of Education and Psychology but with cross university requirements. The University is committed to the well-being of its students and has committed significant investment in providing resources and support in Mental Health care and Wellbeing services for students. As part of this initiative, the University has developed a number of complimentary University wide roles including a Wellbeing Coordinator and Wellbeing Advisor and Student Counsellor. Good communication and interpersonal skills to work collegially with colleagues and specialists across the University are essential requirements for this role. The successful candidate will be registered with an appropriate professional body working to professional standards such as UKCP, BACP, BABCP or equivalent bodies, with experience of providing initial consultations, brief interventions and clinical assessments with associated reporting in an organisational setting. This role requires an Enhanced DBS Check and a flexible approach to working patterns/hours.
