Full Membership to PPN North West is open to all psychological professionals of all grades, working in mental and/or physical health NHS commissioned services in the North West of England, and deliver psychological intervention, therapies, services or training programmes as a core role.

They will be :

  • primarily employed by NHS commissioned services that provide psychological intervention for the treatment of mental health problems as a primary or co-morbid condition and/or provide training in psychological therapies and/or professions that is accredited by the relevant professional organisation
  • qualified through having undertaken an accredited skills based training programme specific to the psychological approach or therapy they provide and that is recognised by the relevant professional or regulatory body
  • eligible to register with the accreditation and/or regulatory body that governs practice for their specific psychological profession and/or specific therapy they provide.

Trainee Membership
to PPN North West is open to all trainee practitioners where the completed training will provide qualification in a core psychological profession.

Associate Membership of PPN is available to clinicians, managers and commissioners who work with NHS commissioned NHS services, who do not meet full membership eligibility as a psychological professional but are interested in the psychological professions and the work of the network. If you are interested in joining the network but you are not sure if it is for you, or you think we have overlooked your profession please do not hesitate to contact us we will be very pleased to hear from you.

Growing the Network

We are keen to hear from and include the whole psychological practitioner workforce, so if you work in an environment or role that is unique we would like to hear from you.
